Job summary

Fulton County Schools is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to work under a BCBA's supervision in classroom and home settings, delivering direct behavior-analytic services and implementing tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and are willing to complete the 40-hour RBT training to obtain GA PSC paraprofessional certification, with strong communication and organizational skills to support students.

Qualifications

• Classroom experience working with children preferred.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions quickly and accurately.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with students and adults.
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility.
• Proficiency with basic technology and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Behavior Interventionist with preparation of educational materials and data collection.
• Supports behavior reduction assessments or skill acquisition plans.
• Supports social skills instruction.
• Works with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assists with implementing students' Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as assigned.
• Completes required 40-hour RBT training and supervision tasks.
