Job summary

Marietta City Schools in Marietta, Georgia is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to support students with behavioral needs in 1:1 and small group settings. The role follows ABA-based instruction and data collection.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of college preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician certification required.
• Experience as an RBT in educational or medical settings preferred.
• At least two years as an RBT.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group student support using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed ABA skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
• Record data for toilet training protocols.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training per treatment plans.
• Communicate student progress with teachers and staff per BCBA direction.
• Use safe handling procedures when working with students.
• Assist with skill acquisition and behavior reduction assessments.
• Prepare student materials as instructed.
• Maintain a clean, safe therapy environment.
• Collaborate with school and behavior teams to design and revise strategies.
