Achieve is seeking a Behavior Specialist Technician in Broome County, NY to support behavior services through implementation, data collection, and training. This full-time role collaborates with clinical and program staff to promote positive outcomes and ensure quality services.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and at least one year of experience in OPWDD-funded or similar human services settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license that meets agency insurance requirements.
• At least one year of experience working within OPWDD-funded services or a comparable human services setting.

Responsabilités

• Collect and record data in accordance with Behavior Support Plans and Monitoring Plans.
• Carry out clinical assessments and complete administrative tasks as assigned.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Implement and model strategies outlined in Behavior Support Plans.
• Maintain tracking systems and documentation for assigned caseload.
• Attend Life Plan Meetings, PPT meetings, and psychiatric appointments to report behavior and symptom tracking information.
• Assist in developing and facilitating group programming.
• Consult with Behavior Specialists regarding individuals on assigned caseloads.
• Promote positive and collaborative working relationships across departments.
• Complete and maintain required documentation in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and agency policies.
• Ensure all required files and records are accurate and up to date.
