Job summary

Damar Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at our Indianapolis Children’s Residential campus. You’ll participate in crisis response, behavior management, and daily living skills coaching in a mission-driven, training-rich environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 to work in our Children's Residential program; for ages 18-21, Direct Support Technician role is available.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record meeting insurer requirements.
• Clear of felony convictions and other disqualifying criminal charges.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment physical and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and care for clients and provide support in daily activities.
• Respond to crises and manage difficult situations.
• Promote development of daily living, self-help and social skills.
• Document daily activities in a professional and timely manner.
