Qualifications

• Be at least 21 to work in our Children’s Residential program; Direct Support Technician role for ages 18-21.
• Formal proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and driving record (if position requires driving).
• Be clear of felony convictions or other disqualifying criminal convictions.
• Pre-employment physical fulfilled.
• Background screening must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise clients and provide care.
• Crisis management and de-escalation.
• Promote appropriate social behaviors and daily living skills.
• Support clients in achieving maximum potential.
• Conduct and supervise recreational and life enrichment activities.
• Complete required daily documentation in a professional manner.
