Job summary

Help at Home is seeking a dedicated Behavior Specialist to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ocean Springs, MS and nearby communities. You will develop and implement Behavior Support Plans, analyze outcomes, train staff, and provide required documentation.

A BA/BS in social work or psychology and 5+ years' experience are required, plus a valid driver's license and ability to travel 20–50 miles.

Qualifications

• Must have Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Five+ years of experience supporting individuals with IDD.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel 20–50 miles as needed.
• Availability for day and weekend shifts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train staff and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized Behavior Support Plans.
• Collect and analyze data to evaluate plan effectiveness.
• Adjust strategies based on data and individual needs.
• Train staff and caregivers on support strategies.
• Submit required documentation to Behavior Consultants.
• Travel within service area as needed.
