Job summary

iLEAD California Charters is seeking a Behavior Support Specialist (Student Support) in the Lancaster/SCV area. The role focuses on applying ABA and other evidence-based methods to address behavior, social-emotional, and cognitive needs of learners within the iLEAD program.

The position requires a Master’s in Behavior Analysis or related field and at least 2 years of supervisory ABA experience, with weekly travel between school sites. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Behavior Analysis or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years in ABA in a supervisory role supporting therapists/paraeducators.
• Willingness to travel between multiple school sites weekly.
• Strong written and verbal communication; conflict resolution mindset.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA-based services and behavior management plans for learners.
• Assist in FBA assessments and develop Behavior Intervention Plans aligned with IDEA/CEC.
• Track behavior minutes and ensure IEPs are updated accordingly.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and IEP team members; present virtually or in person.
• Participate in IEP meetings and make recommendations for services.
• Engage in professional development and use SEIS or equivalent systems.
