The Arc Of The St Johns Inc. is seeking a daytime program assistant to provide skill acquisition training and engaging activities for adult day participants in a Florida program.

You will work under the supervision of the Staff Manager and Director of Adult Day Services, focusing on participant safety, documentation, and activity planning. The role requires strong communication, valid CPR/First Aid certifications, a Florida driver's license, and the ability to maintain licensing standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Certification in CPR, Medication Training and First Aid.
• Florida Driver's License and proof of insurance.
• Good health and negative Covid test required.
• Abuse Registry and local police screening as applicable.

Responsabilités

• Provide skill acquisition training to participants as identified in their Individual Program plans.
• Engage participants in meaningful classroom activities in assigned areas.
• Maintain data documentation for skill acquisition and programs.
• Assist with assessments and documentation of participants' achievements.
• Assist with dispensing medication and complete related documentation.
• Ensure safety, health, and licensing compliance in day program areas.
• Attend staff meetings and log time using Paylocity; support day program operations.
