Job summary

The Arc of Ocean County is seeking an Assistant Program Supervisor to help coordinate Adult Day Services and support employees delivering meaningful services to adults with disabilities. This role blends hands-on coordination with staff guidance to translate individual goals into practical daily activities and community participation.

You will work with leadership to ensure high-quality care, effective operations, and a positive team environment, while expanding your leadership in human services

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Special Education, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in direct support, vocational, or adult day programs.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license in good standing with no more than five points.
• Ability to complete required background screenings and comply with agency drug testing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily program schedules and activities to support effective service delivery.
• Work with program leadership to uphold participant care and program performance standards.
• Organize staffing requirements, coordinate workflow, and communicate guidance to staff.
• Supervise staff and promote teamwork and ongoing professional development.
• Track participant progress toward individualized goals in independence and skills.
• Maintain accurate program documentation and records for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with families, Support Coordinators, and community organizations to meet needs.
