Job summary

Las Trampas School, Inc. in Pleasant Hill, CA is hiring a Behavior Support Professional to assist residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a specialized residential facility.

Under supervision, you will implement skill-based training based on ABA and Positive Behavior Supports to help residents cope with challenging behaviors. You will collaborate with behaviorists, nurses, and other staff to ensure quality care, maintain ISPs/BSPs, and promote safety and dignity in everyday

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Education in psychology/behaviorism or RBT certification preferred.
• Experience with individuals who have developmental disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rights of individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Support residents in daily care and skill development.
• Implement behavioral supports and positive behavior strategies in home and community.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for ISPs/BSPs and training.
• Attend required agency trainings and meetings.
