Qualifications

• College hours for Title I campus required or ParaPro 464 test passed.
• High school diploma or GED for Non-Title I campus is sufficient.
• Paraprofessional Aide certification required after employment.
• Valid CPI certification preferred (can be obtained after employment).
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to district policies and procedures.
• Assist in implementing behavioral programs for students.
• Coach and model behavior for students with challenges.
• Collect and maintain student behavior data.
• Obtain and maintain CPI certification.
• Provide instruction under administrator supervision.
• Deliver student work and supervise tasks as needed.
• Oversee character education activities as directed.
• Maintain a strictly disciplined learning environment.
• Obtain assignments from teachers and deliver to students.
