Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking dedicated education staff to support students with special needs in both 1:1 and small-group settings. You will build rapport, foster a safe learning environment, and assist with IEP delivery under guidance of lead educators.

Training and development opportunities are available, with state-wide variations. As a W-2 employee, you’ll receive weekly pay, reimbursement for background checks, and eligibility for 401k after meeting requirements.

Qualifications

• Passion for education and putting students first.
• Empathetic nature, growth mindset, and drive to be the best you can be.
• College credits or higher: Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or CBEST.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with students with special needs in small group or 1:1 settings.
• Build rapport and trust with the children in your care.
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Support resource teacher(s) in delivering IEPs.
• Take direction from lead educators and assist when needed.
• Assist in various mod to severe scenarios in the classroom.
