Job summary

Scoot Education is seeking dedicated educators to support students with special needs in small group or 1:1 settings. You will build rapport, foster a safe, nurturing environment, and assist in delivering IEPs under guidance from lead teachers.

Applicants should have college credits, an associate or bachelor’s degree (CBEST acceptable), and be prepared for background checks. Roles include varied duties; some positions involve 1:1 care and behavioral support.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with students with special needs in small group or 1:1 settings.
• Build rapport and trust with the children in your care.
• Foster a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Support resource teacher(s) in delivering IEPs (individual education plans).
• Take direction from lead educators and assist when needed.
• Assist in situations described (toileting, personal 1:1 care, non-verbal or challenging behaviors) in some roles.
