Job summary

Spring Independent School District in Houston seeks a Positive Behavior Intervention Aide (PBIA) for the 2026-2027 school year. The PBIA will design, implement, coordinate and evaluate a comprehensive behavior support program at the campus, working with identified students to develop positive social and academic habits.

Qualifications

• Two years of college coursework (48 semester hours) or an associate degree.
• Three years working with students in educational support or related role.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Must meet Spring ISD testing requirements (NCLB) in Reading, Writing and Mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PBIA activities with the administrator.
• Organize PBIA supports for classroom management and supervision of each student.
• Monitor and assist with students' assignments and progress.
• Counsel students to address behavior and advocate for support services.
• Maintain records of attendance, behavior and grades for reporting.
