Job summary

Camelot Community Care is seeking a qualified individual to supervise clients in the School Based Day Treatment Program. The role includes implementing the daily schedule, planning and leading groups, and maintaining a safe, learning environment for children and adolescents.

Qualified candidates will have paid experience with SED populations and ideally a BSW; experience in residential or partial hospitalization settings is a plus. Comprehensive benefits and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• Documented paid work experience with SED children, adolescents and their families.
• Bachelor degree in a Human Service discipline preferred but not necessary; a BSW is highly desirable.
• Ideal candidates have experience in residential or partial hospitalization settings working with children and/or adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Implement the daily schedule in the Day Treatment program.
• Plan and lead Day Treatment groups.
• Supervise clients at all times.
• Work one-on-one with clients as necessary.
• Learn and effectively utilize the Day Treatment program model.
• Learn de-escalation and restraint techniques.
• Collaborate with school personnel.
• Attend Camelot trainings.
• Accurately complete clinical documentation daily.
• Attend staff meetings as required.

Education

Bachelor degree in a Human Service discipline

Bachelor's Degree in Social Work (BSW) highly desirable
