Job summary

Melmark in Berwyn, PA seeks a Behavior Specialist in the Children’s RTF department who will support the Behavior Analyst in functional assessments, data collection, and implementation of behavior support plans, with a path toward BCBA certification.

Evening and weekend hours are required to ensure continuity of treatment; bachelor’s degree candidates earn $57,500+ based on experience, master’s degree candidates (no BCBA) earn $62,500+ based on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Clinical Psychology or closely related field.
• Active enrollment in a Master’s program leading to the BCBA credential must be completed within three years.
• Experience and training in functional behavior assessment and behavior plans preferred.
• Experience in neurobehavioral stabilization or intensive residential settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements Melmark Model of Program Development and Clinical Treatment across RTF services.
• Support to the Behavior Analyst in conceptualization and implementation within RTF and classroom settings.
• Ensure consistent implementation of behavior support plans and reliable data collection.
• Assist supervision, training, and treatment integrity of RTF personnel and staffing patterns.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and family trainings.
