Job Description

Required Qualifications

The role of the Behavior Specialist is to serve as an itinerant teacher on several elementary and secondary campuses to assist special education teachers with conducting functional behavioral assessments, developing, refining, and implementing behavior intervention plans. The Specialist is to make classroom observations to gather data to improve instruction, activities, and structure (classroom or student specific). The Specialist is responsible for modeling and working directly with students and teachers to improve behavior and academic skills.
