Job summary

The Center for Disability Services in Albany, NY is seeking a Behavior Services Clinician to join our residential programs, providing behavioral consultation and support to adults with disabilities. You will document services in accordance with regulatory and programmatic requirements and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement proactive behavioral plans.

• Strong clinical background with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorders.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

• Provide behavioral consultation for residents in assigned programs.
• Document services in accordance with regulations and programmatic requirements.
• Develop proactive behavioral support programming and collaborate with the team.

These programs offer a variety of residential services for adults, age 18 and older, to address individualized interests and needs.ResponsibilitiesProvides behavioral consultation regarding people in assigned programs.Documentation for such services needs to adhere to regulation and programmatic requirements.This is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of consumers by developing proactive behavioral support programming, while serving as an integral team member.Requirements:Graduate degree (Masters, Doctorate) in field of Psychology, Social Work, or Behavioral Sciences required.Strong clinical background and experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disordersMust be at least 18 years old to apply for this position.
