Job summary

Minneapolis Public Schools seeks an Associate Educator - Behavior Resource at Sanford Middle for the 2026-2027 school year. This 1.0 FTE position supports classroom instruction, assists teachers, and helps run after-school and special education activities at Sanford Middle School.

Qualifications

• Completion of 90 quarter or 60 semester credits in Education, Child Development, Behavioral Sciences or related field.
• ParaPro score of 460+ and a high school diploma or GED.
• Two years of professional experience with children.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience as determined by HR.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with educational programs and assignments.
• Support teachers to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
• Provide individual instruction and small-group support.
• Record data for academic and behavioral assessments.
• Communicate with parents and guardians while maintaining confidentiality.
• Provide general office and administrative support for the program.
