Minneapolis Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Teacher for Sanford Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. This 1.0 FTE (42 weeks) position requires a Minnesota teaching license in Special Education (SERT) with renewal.

Salary ranges from $55,796 to $116,593, plus benefits including health, dental, vision and retirement plans. The teacher will provide instruction aligned to state standards, use varied assessments, and may collaborate with the campus STEM team to integrate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Master's or PhD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality instruction aligned to state and national standards.
• Use a variety of assessment strategies to inform instructional decisions.
• Engage students in rigorous inquiry-based learning tasks.
• Possibly work with campus STEM team to ensure integrated instruction.
