Job summary

Citizens of the World Los Angeles is seeking a Behavior Intervention Implementation Associate (BII) to join our school team in Valley Village, CA. The role supports teachers, students, and families by assisting with classroom instruction, outdoor play, and individualized interventions for students with disabilities.

You will help implement data-driven instruction, monitor student behavior, and contribute to a positive school culture rooted in social-emotional learning.

Qualifications

• AA degree or two years of college with at least 48 semester units.
• Experience working with students with disabilities, including students with autism.
• Training in implementing Behavior Intervention techniques and ABA-based strategies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to safe, positive school community.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher with progress assessments and reporting using academic data.
• Tailor instruction using data to meet individual students' academic and social needs.
• Support classroom culture aligned with SEL focus.
• Supervise playground, fields, and lunch areas; enforce rules.
• Assist with intervention support for struggling learners and English Language Learners.
• Support social-emotional learning during outdoor play.
• Provide individualized instruction for students with special needs.
• Monitor behavior and implement behavior management techniques.
• Assist with ABA-based behavior plans and data collection.
• Collaborate with families and staff; participate in professional development.
