Job summary

Cross Country Education in Palos Verdes, CA is seeking a Behavioral Interventionist (BII) to support middle and high school students with ABA-based strategies in a 1:1 and classroom setting.

You will implement intervention plans, monitor progress through data, and collaborate with teachers to meet educational and behavioral goals. This part-time role offers a consistent school schedule and opportunities for bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of ABA-based intervention experience with school-aged students ( ASD preferred ).
• Completion of a 40-hour ABA seminar or workshop.
• CPI Certification preferred and valid Driver's License.
• Knowledge of behavior management, student development, safety procedures, and data collection.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and classroom-based behavioral support to middle and high school students using ABA.
• Implement behavior intervention strategies and collect/document behavior data to monitor progress.
• Assist students with daily activities and personal care needs, including toileting, in a safe environment.
• Collaborate with school staff to reinforce positive behaviors and adapt instructional strategies.
