Job summary

Youth and Education Specialist position with Young World Physical Education in Springtown, TX requires a Part‑Time Special Education Behavior Specialist to support students with behavioral needs, develop plans, and collaborate with staff and families.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Master’s degree in Education/Special Education (preferred).
  • Valid Texas teaching certificate with required special education endorsements.
  • BCBA or BCaBA licensure (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and development.
  • Plan and implement instructional and behavioral strategies for students with severe behaviors.
  • Implement an instructional or therapeutic program for assigned students.
  • Use various behavior intervention strategies to promote positive change.
  • Provide social skills instruction and replacement behaviors.
  • Collaborate with LSSP, admins, related staff, parents, and others to improve interventions.
