Job summary

Anova Education is seeking a TOSA - Behavior Specialist in Arizona to deliver intensive Tier 3 supports for students with disruptive and at-risk behaviors. You will design, model, and implement individualized behavior plans, train staff, and coordinate with families and external agencies to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Requires AZ DPS IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Bachelor’s degree in education/psychology/counseling or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Valid Arizona teaching certificate; Special Education preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in education, with behavior intervention.
• Experience with students with behavioral, emotional, or mental health needs.
• Effective presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work with students, staff and families; strong technology use.
• CPI/NCI training preferred; other board-approved qualifications acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct FBAs and guide development of BIPs and crisis plans.
• Implement PTR model for individualized behavior interventions.
• Design and support evidence-based behavior interventions.
• Provide direct services in general and special education settings.
• Serve on crisis teams; manage acute incidents with de-escalation when needed.
• Model and integrate SEL strategies for classes and small groups.
• Collaborate with school teams to analyze behavioral data and supports.
• Liaise with families; provide information and education on behavior.
• Assist staff with data collection and progress monitoring.
• Partner with external agencies when needs exceed school services.
