Job summary

Catholic Charities Disabilities Services seeks a dedicated Behavior Intervention Specialist in New York. You will provide behavioral services, develop behavior support plans, and contribute to treatment goals in collaboration with care managers and the individual served.

Qualifications include a Master’s in behavior analysis or related field, BCBA certification or NYS Counseling license, and at least 1 year working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavior analysis or related field approved by OPWDD.
• BCBA certification or NYS License with OPWDD training in functional assessment and behavior support.
• Minimum 1 year working with individuals with developmental disabilities and behavior support plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral services including assessment, evaluation, intervention and development of behavior plans.
• Provide education and training in behavioral, psychological and related services.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on evaluations and care team recommendations.

Skills

BCBA certification

NYS License in Mental Health Couns.

Experience with behavior support plans

Driver's license

Education

Master’s degree in behavior analysis or related field
