SchoolHiring (Division of ExpertHiring) seeks a Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) for the 2026/2027 school year in Minnesota. This onsite contract role supports 2–3 elementary schools with a 37.5-hour work week (roughly 8:30 AM–4:10 PM) across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include functional behavior assessments, PBIS implementation, crisis de-escalation, staff training, and assisting with IEPs while maintaining a safe learning environment and complying with district and state

Qualifications

• BCBA or MN Tier 3/4 license required.
• RBTs are not eligible for this position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs).
• Develop and implement Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS).
• Support students through behavior intervention, de-escalation, and crisis response.
• Train school staff on behavior strategies and recommendations.
• Assist with IEP development and implementation.
