YAI Network in Nanuet, NY is hiring an Assistant Behavior Intervention Specialist (ABIS) to support individuals with developmental disabilities. You will perform DSP duties, supervise, document, and implement Behavior Support Plans.

The role requires a Bachelor's in psychology or related field, 6+ months of experience, strong communication, and ability to train staff. It includes weekend/evening shifts and participation in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or related Human Services field with 6+ months of I/DD experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and coordination.
• Willingness to lead, train others, and complete required program certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs DSP duties and ABIS tasks to ensure safety and care.
• Identify community inclusion activities and coordinate resources.
• Train staff on behavioral programming and document progress.
