Job summary

Granite School District seeks a Special Education Behavior Coordinator for external applicants only. This is a one-year-only contract (9 months + up to 10 additional days) at 1.0 FTE, Exempt status, located in the Special Education department.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent understanding of IDEA, USBE Special Education Rules and LRBImanual.
• Ability to develop functional behavior assessments and behavioral intervention plans.

Responsibilities

• Organize professional development for special education teachers.
• Provide coaching on functional behavior assessments and behavior plans.
• Support compliance with IDEA and USBE rules.
• Assist with data collection and progress monitoring on behavior.
• Participate in district PLCs and committee meetings.
