Job summary

New Haven seeks Behavioral Health Technicians to support adolescent girls in a residential treatment setting in Spanish Fork, Utah. You will provide hands-on care, guide routines, teach coping skills, and work closely with therapists and clinical staff.

The role is on-site in Spanish Fork with both full-time and part-time options. Training is provided, and the position emphasizes safety, trauma-informed care, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a Utah State background check.
• Willingness to commit to a minimum of 8 months.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Permit before first day.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and behavioral health support to adolescent residents.
• Lead and participate in daily routines, group activities, and therapeutic programming.
• Support the development of healthy coping skills, communication, and emotional regulation.
• Assist with minor food preparation and model healthy lifestyle habits.
• Maintain a safe, structured, trauma‑informed environment.
• Collaborate with therapists and clinical staff to support individualized treatment plans.
• Document daily progress notes and communicate key updates to leadership.
• Use safe verbal de‑escalation and physical intervention skills when needed.

On-Site: Spanish Fork, UT

Schedule: Full time & part-time available

Shifts:

• Mon/Wed/Fri: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM
• Tue/Thu/Sat: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 3:00 PM–11:00 PM

You’ll provide hands‑on support through daily routines, group activities, coping skills, emotional regulation, and structured programming while working closely with therapists and clinical staff.
