Lakeview Center seeks a Behavior Health Technician to support counselors and nursing staff in residential, inpatient, outpatient and community programs. You will help clients engage in activities of daily living, access resources and build pro-social relationships.
The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and CPR/CPI readiness. Prior behavioral health experience is preferred, with a valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks.

The Behavior Health Technician position assists the counselors/therapeutic/nursing staff by providing clinical support to adults and children who are receiving substance abuse, mental health services or co-occurring disorders in residential programs, inpatient settings, day/evening programs, outpatient programs and/or community-based programs. This position is responsible for but is not limited to: Establishing a positive helping relationship with people receiving services. Assisting those receiving services to complete activities of daily living, including accessing needed resources, and building functional, pro-social relationships with others. Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of those receiving services. Implementing specific interventions according to the person’s treatment or service plan. Monitoring and documenting the person’s progress.
Base pay ranges from $15.00 - $16.12 an hour based on experience. Shift differential pay ($2.00- $4.00) and supplemental pay (up to 8% of base pay) is applicable to certain programs at Lakeview Center, Inc.
