Job Description: It is the responsibility of the Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to provide one-to-one services to an identified child/adolescent and family to reduce maladaptive behaviors in the home, school & community.
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Program: Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS)
Pay Rate: $18+/hour
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience: One year of full-time experience in providing mental health support services to youth or young adults.
Licensure/Certifications: Have certification as BCAT (Board Certified Autism Technician Certification).
Required Clearances: Pennsylvania Child Abuse, Criminal and fingerprint-based federal criminal history; Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list.
Note: At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and/or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience.
