Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Behavior Health Technician to work one-on-one with children and adolescents in community settings. You will help build communication, social, emotional, and behavioral skills to support youth and families.

Location: Easton, PA. Schedule: Part-Time. Compensation starts at $18+ per hour, based on experience and credentials. Travel between client locations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with children/adolescents in childcare, education, or youth programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children and adolescents in home, school, daycare, and community settings.
• Help children build communication, social, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills.
• Support positive behavior change using strategies taught through our ABA training program.
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by clinical supervisors.
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and treatment team members to support client success.
• Travel between client locations throughout the community.

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one support to children and adolescents in home, school, daycare, and community settings
• Help children build communication, social, emotional regulation, and problem-solving skills
• Support positive behavior change using strategies taught through our ABA training program
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by clinical supervisors
• Collaborate with families, teachers, and treatment team members to support client success
• Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and their support systems
• Collect and document session data and progress notes accurately and promptly
• Participate in ongoing training, supervision, and team meetings
• Travel between client locations throughout the community

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with children or adolescents in any capacity, including:
  • Childcare, Daycare, Teaching or educational settings, coaching or sports programs, summer camps, youth programs, Behavioral health or human services, mentoring or volunteer work with youth
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while remaining a part of a team
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between service locations
• Commitment to helping children and families achieve their goals

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus, but not required
