Job summary

Lakeview Center in Pensacola, FL seeks a Behavior Health Technician to support counselors and nursing staff in residential and outpatient programs. You will establish positive relationships, assist with daily living, and help ensure safety while documenting progress across inpatient, day/evening, and community-based services.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification, CPI training, and strong communication skills. Prior behavioral health experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in behavioral health setting preferred.
• Must obtain CPR certification and CPI training.

Responsibilities

• Establish a positive helping relationship with people served.
• Assist with activities of daily living and accessing needed resources.
• Build functional, pro-social relationships with others.
