This position is located in the Student Support Services Office, Structured Skills Center, with a 195-contract day, permanent contract for the 2025-2026 school year, at 1.0 FTE.

Qualifications: Appropriate Oregon license and current First Aid Card. Open to Licensed Special Education Teachers, Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed School Psychologists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).
Compensation: Salary ranges from $51,120 to $106,235, prorated based on FTE and start/end dates. Eligible for stipends of $2,907 (school year) and $2,000 for multilingual certification in Spanish, Arabic, Ukrainian, or Russian, pending proficiency testing.

Position Summary: The Behavior Coach - TOSA will collaborate with schools, Special Education Directors, and the Executive Director of Student Support Services to provide behavioral support, staff development, facilitate functional behavior assessments, develop behavior intervention plans, and support students with high needs based on their IEPs.
Minimum Qualifications: License with evidence of insurability and criminal justice fingerprint clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: At least three years of experience working with students with disabilities in Oregon, knowledge of Special Education and ADA law, and skills in communication, conflict resolution, collaboration, coaching, curriculum consultation, time management, problem-solving, and facilitation.
Major Responsibilities: Include coaching in student behaviors, developing and training on behavioral intervention strategies, providing direct instruction, staff training, supporting students transitioning from restrictive placements, participating in leadership teams, observing student needs, and evaluating placement options.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, use fingers and hands precisely, reach, see clearly, and occasionally lift 15-45 pounds.
Workplace Expectations: Maintain punctuality, confidentiality, professional attire, good judgment, independence, adherence to policies, appropriate use of electronics, participation in meetings, and fostering a respectful environment.
