The Behavior & Academic Intervention Teacher provides targeted academic and behavioral support to Franklin students needing additional intervention to successfully access the general education environment. This position is a .4 FTE which primarily works with students individually and in small groups to design and deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions based on identified student needs.

The intervention teacher collaborates with classroom teachers, special education staff, and school teams to analyze student data, design targeted instruction and behavioral supports, monitor progress, and adjust interventions based on student response. The ideal candidate is skilled in building strong student relationships, providing explicit and responsive instruction, and supporting students with a range of academic, behavioral, and self-regulation needs.

Special Education endorsement and experience supporting students with intensive academic and behavioral needs preferred.
