Job Description

As a Behavior Analyst within our special education program, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with disabilities and complex behavioral needs.

Location: Based out of the Clear Lake office (click for map) - Service area TBD based on geographical location of applicant.

Beginning: 2025-26 school year

Behavior Analyst

Education/Experience:

  • BCBA Certification and strong understanding of ABA principles.
  • Master's degree in ABA, education, psychology or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with disabilities
  • Prefer experience in developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA's) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP's) for students with complex behavioral needs
  • Strong understanding of behavior management principles, positive behavior support strategies, and evidence-based interventions specifically tailored to students with disabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, educators, and external stakeholders within the context of special education programs.
  • Strong data analysis and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in crisis situations.
  • Commitment to positive and respectful interaction with students with disabilities.
  • Such alternatives as seen appropriate and acceptable by the Board
