Descripción del empleo

Behavior Analyst (BCBA or Licensed Clinician) / No Billables, M–F Schedule
  • Full-time

No billable hour requirements. A consistent weekday schedule. Meaningful clinical work with adults.

At Dungarvin, we support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living as independently as possible through person-centered, community-based services. Our programs focus on real-life outcomes, consistency, and long-term progress.

As a Behavior Analyst, you'll provide hands-on clinical services within our adult day programs across Sonoma and Solano Counties. You'll conduct assessments, develop behavior support plans, and work closely with individuals, direct support staff, and program leadership to create meaningful progress in everyday settings.

This isn't a traditional clinic-based ABA role. It's an opportunity to focus on clinical care, collaboration, and real-world outcomes without the pressure of billable hour requirements.

What Makes This Role Different

  • No billable hour requirements. Focus on clinical services, not meeting billing targets.
  • Consistent weekday schedule. Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility based on program needs.
  • Adult-focused services. Support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in structured day programs.
  • Hands-on clinical involvement. Conduct assessments, develop individualized behavior support plans, and work directly with program teams.
  • Collaborative environment. Partner with Program Directors, direct support professionals, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Mileage reimbursement. Work‑related mileage is reimbursed in accordance with company policy.

Work Location & Travel

Sonoma and Solano Counties. The workweek is divided between the two counties. You can generally expect to spend two to three days per week in each county, with designated workdays at each location rather than traveling between counties during the same day. This is a fully on‑site position, and candidates must be comfortable regularly working in both counties.

Work‑related mileage is reimbursed in accordance with company policy.

  • Starting Salary: $89,187/ year
  • Full wage scale: $89,187- $96,749.13(Future increases within the posted range are based on tenure and performance per Dungarvin’s compensation guidelines.)
  • Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance
  • Supplemental Insurance
  • Flex Spending and HSA Account
  • Pet Insurance
  • Life Insurance
  • 401 K plan with up to 3% employer matchbased on eligibility requirements
  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)
  • Growth and Development Opportunities
  • Employee Referral Program
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Paidtraining and orientation

What You'll Do

As a Behavior Analyst, you'll play an active role in developing and supporting individualized behavioral services that promote independence, safety, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct functional behavioral assessments (FBAs), observations, and clinical evaluations.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered Behavior Support Plans (BSPs).
  • Review behavioral data, track progress, and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Train and coach direct support professionals on behavior plans, positive behavior supports, data collection, and crisis intervention strategies.
  • Provide direct clinical support when individuals experience increased behavioral challenges.
  • Partner with Program Directors and interdisciplinary teams to address behavioral concerns and support consistent implementation.
  • Complete required clinical documentation, progress reports, and pre‑admission assessments.
  • Collaborate with Program Directors, families, Regional Centers, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Prepare behavioral documentation, progress reports, and semiannual data summaries.
  • Promote person‑centered, positive behavioral supports that strengthen independence and quality of life.
  • Ensure behavioral services align with best practices, individual rights, professional standards, and applicable regulations.

What to Expect In This Role

  • This is not a remote position and requires regular on‑site presence in day programs.
  • You will be working directly with staff and individuals in a hands‑on environment.
  • The role is focused on clinical support and collaboration, not supervision or staff management.

If you are looking for a stable weekday schedule, meaningful clinical work with adults, building relationships with staff, seeing real progress over time, and the opportunity to grow within a supportive organization, this role offers that balance.

Candidates must have a master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field and meet one of the following credentialing pathways:

Option 1: BCBA Track

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB.

Option 2: Licensing Track

  • Current Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or other qualifying California licensure (must be independent license).
  • Completion of at least 12 units of ABA coursework required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and implementing behavior intervention services.

General Requirements (all candidates):

  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with individuals, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and required automobile insurance.
  • Ability to work on‑site across both Sonoma and Solano Counties.

Experience with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, community-based programs, and staff training is valued.

Make a Difference Beyond the Clinic

If you enjoy being directly involved in behavioral services, working alongside staff, and developing strategies that make a difference in everyday life, this opportunity offers a different approach to traditional ABA work.

Bring your experience, your clinical judgment, and your commitment to person-centered care. We'd love to hear from you
