Job summary

CARIN Alliance in Lincoln, NE, seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead behavioral interventions within a team serving individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs.

You will supervise RBTs, develop behavior support plans, conduct FBA, provide training on crisis prevention, and ensure timely documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • BCBA certification is required.
  • Minimum two years of experience in behavior supports with individuals with disabilities.
  • Training in behavior analysis, crisis de-escalation, CPR and First Aid is preferred.
  • Knowledge of DDS/MHSD policies, person-centered care and trauma-informed ABA strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and computer literacy are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Guiding behavioral intervention strategies and supervising team activities.
  • Consulting with providers to implement behavior management techniques.
  • Developing and delivering training on crisis prevention, behavioral supports, and proactive strategies.
  • Conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments and overseeing related observations.
  • Participating in provider meetings to present assessment findings and recommendations.
  • Supporting staff development in behavior support plan creation and monitoring.
  • Supervising Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and modeling person-centered care.
  • Responding effectively to emergency situations and ensuring timely documentation.
  • Reporting suspected abuse or neglect per regulations and maintaining confidentiality and safety standards.
