Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) Belvidere location is seeking a paraprofessional/behavior aide to support students with intensive behavioral needs under IEP guidance.

You will work one-on-one with students, implement behavior plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic support. The role emphasizes data collection, crisis management skills, and effective family communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned student one-on-one to meet IEP goals.
• Develop and modify behavior support plans as needed.
• Record and track data on behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and crisis management when necessary.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to implement plans consistently.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
