Job description

Expatiate Communications is seeking a dedicated Per Diem Behavior Aide to provide exceptional services to individuals requiring additional support to overcome challenges that impede success. Our team plays a crucial role in designing and implementing effective therapy programs to support our clients’ growth and development.

  • Pay: $18 - $25 / per hour DOE
  • Per Diem

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of behavior intervention plans designed by our team or BCBA.
  • Provide direct support to clients in individual and group settings.
  • Collect and record data on client progress and behavior.
  • Implement therapeutic activities and exercises as directed by the BCBA.
  • Assist with naturalistic observations of clients.
  • Help to create simulated conditions for observing client behavior, as directed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of client sessions.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate with clients, families, teachers, and other team members.
  • Adhere to ethical codes and maintain client confidentiality.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Knowledge, Skill & Other Requirements:

  • Strong observation skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and implement plans consistently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in California.
  • An Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with students or children with disabilities.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check and any required certifications.
