Job summary

Alpine School District is seeking a Summit Program Teacher Assistant 2 to support instructional programs in assigned classrooms, focusing on individual or small-group instruction and behavior management. Qualifications

• Age 19+.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Job related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Aids instructional staff in improving students' learning skills, self care, and/or social development.
• Assists teachers in preparing and presenting instructional materials.
• Monitors and documents student performance and behavior.
• Assists in implementing behavior modification programs.
• Mentors students outside of class and supports reintegration into the classroom.
• Monitors hallways and bathrooms during class to maintain safety.
• Performs related duties to ensure efficient operation of the unit.
