Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Bachelor’s degree in human services, education, or related field (Masters preferred).
• Experience with diverse backgrounds and ages (TK–12th preferred).
• Experience handling emotionally charged situations.
• Experience in training others in behavior management techniques.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches in education.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement behavior support plans in collaboration with staff.
• Use IEPs and school reports to measure goals and analyze interventions.
• Provide in-classroom support to students as needed.
• Assist caregivers in promoting healthy routines and behavior changes.
• Maintain records of student education and behavioral data.
• SupportAfter School Program & Summer Day Camp activities and enrichment.
• Facilitate opportunities for children to develop academic, physical, and social skills.
• Pursue professional development to support youth and families.
• Ensure adherence to Child Safety Policies.
• Report suspected child abuse or neglect to authorities.
• Other related duties as assigned.
