Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a School-Age Childcare Assistant for the Before School Program at Glenham Elementary School (Glenham, NY) for the 2026–2027 school year. The role is part-time and non-exempt, with an hourly pay rate of $16.00.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include High School Diploma or equivalent or at least 1 year of childcare experience.
• Health clearance including TB screening per state regulations.
• Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and reliability.
• Physically able to bend, stretch, lift and carry up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate hands-on activities per Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, etc.) and homework completion.
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and be a positive role model.
• Observe state guidelines, program policies, and host school rules.
• Assist with attendance, registration, and staffing as needed.
