Job summary

Healthy Kids Programs is seeking a dedicated Pre-K Childcare Assistant for our Before and After School Programs at DB Bunce Elementary School in Pavilion, NY, for the 2026–2027 school year.

The role is part-time and non-exempt, with hourly pay of $16.00 and a schedule following the school calendar (morning and/or afternoon shifts). You will support children with engaging activities, safety, and daily routines in a caring, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• TB screening health clearance required.
• Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and reliability.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds while engaging with children.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate activities per Healthy Kids Curriculum (fitness, STEAM, academic, art, and homework).
• Provide a safe, healthy, and fun environment and be a positive role model.
• Observe state guidelines and program policies.
• Support program operations including attendance, registration, and staffing.
