Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County in Minerva, Ohio, seeks Before & After School Assistant Teachers to support K-5 students in a caring, educational setting rooted in the YMCA mission. Part-time hours are 15–20 per week with a pay rate of $12.35 per hour.

You will lead activities, supervise, and help build strong relationships with families and school staff while supporting children’s growth and safety. Applicants must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Completed high school or GED program.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities with students (arts, sports, STEM, etc.).
• Provide safe supervision and positive example.
• Build relationships with parents, school staff and others.
