Job summary

YMCA of Central Stark County is seeking Before & After School Assistant Teachers who are passionate about working with children. You will serve as role models, lead various activities, and ensure a safe and positive experience for children in grades K-5.

The position offers 15-20 hours per week and a pay rate of $12.35/hr along with complimentary YMCA membership and discounted childcare rates.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Completed high school or GED program.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a professional role model for children grades K-5.
• Participate in and lead activities with students.
• Build relationships with parents and school employees.
• Be part of a team focused on teaching teamwork.
• Execute State Licensing requirements.
