The Lake Superior YMCA is seeking a part-time Assistant Teacher for its Superior, WI location. The role supports high-quality early childhood education, supervising children and implementing curriculum in a safe environment.

Qualifications

• Successfully meet the Assistant Child Care Teacher qualifications set by Wisconsin.
• Must be CPR/AED and First Aid certified for adults, children, and infants.

Responsibilities

• Supervises preschool or school age children, classroom, and all activities involving the Center.
• Assists in developing daily lesson plans with the Teacher.
• Instructs and supervises children for social and developmental activities.
• Attend family nights, program activities, staff meetings, and staff training.
