Job summary

AlphaBEST Education provides before- and after-school programs at Manassas - Round Elementary School. The Group Leader Assistant will support curriculum activities across World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts while promoting a safe, engaging environment for students.

This part-time role operates mornings and/or afternoons, with no weekends. Candidates must have a high school diploma, be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds, and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to work in a classroom setting and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Background Screening and Central Registry check required.
• Flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts).
• Prioritize child safety at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Location(s): Manassas - Round Elementary School

Pay: Range $14.50-17

Hours: No weekends! Part-time (mornings and/or afternoons)! The before-school hours are 6:00-9:15 AM, and the after-school hours are 3:00-6:30 PM.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs
• Must pass a Background Screening and Central Registry check
