Job summary

AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. As a Group Leader Assistant, you’ll help shape meaningful before and after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive.

We’re seeking an Early Learning Professional who enjoys working with children, follows safety procedures, and is flexible to jump in wherever needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Background Screening and Central Registry check required.
• Flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily curriculum activities (World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts) while encouraging positive peer interactions.
• Make child safety the top priority at all times.
• Keep the space clean and organized.
• Help create an environment where kids feel supported and included.
• Build strong relationships with teammates, kids, families, and school staff.

Schools: Bristow Run Elementary, Haymarket Elementary, Chris Yung Elementary

Pay: Range: $14.50-17.00

Hours: No weekends! Part-time (mornings and/or afternoons)! The before-school hours are 6:00-9:15 AM, and the after-school hours are 3:00-6:30 PM.
