Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, based in Norman, OK, is seeking a Before and After School Group Leader Substitute for Monday through Friday, 2:30 pm–6:00 pm, across Norman Public Schools sites. You will guide students through daily activities including World Languages, STEAM, Fitness, Maker, and Arts, while prioritizing a safe, structured, high-energy environment.

This role provides leadership experience for students studying Education, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, or related fields, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid certification required (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to work in a classroom setting with regular bending and lifting (up to 25 pounds).
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm.
• Preferred 1 year of childcare experience with Elementary-aged students.

AlphaBEST Education provides extended-day, summer, and enrichment programs designed to inspire and engage students as they discover and learn beyond the school day in a fun, safe environment. AlphaBEST Group Leader Substitute, you'll help shape meaningful before and after-school moments that help kids learn, grow, and thrive. You'll gain valuable experience working with children and collaborating with a team.
